Together with Reym, we have established Reym-HMVT, a joint venture specifically created to offer temporary emission reduction services within the industry. These services are necessary when temporary vapors are released during major maintenance, cleaning operations, and shutdowns. For these Industrial Degassing Services, we have developed a special fleet of mobile air treatment units. Depending on your requirements, flow rate, and the load of the vapors to be treated, we can deploy the following techniques or combinations thereof:

  • Classic oxidation at high or normal combustion temperatures: incinerators or flare systems;
  • Catalytic oxidation at lower temperatures (400–500 degrees): CatOx
  • Adsorption using activated carbon or zeolite
  • Absorption of vapors with a gas scrubber, for example by countercurrent washing with water or an aliphatic washing fluid (e.g., diesel or oil). In some cases, scrubbing is done with lye, acid, or another additive, depending on the specific situation. Scrubbing can also be used as a “peak shaver” to level out high influent peaks for the benefit of the final air treatment system.
  • Biofilters

You can find more information about this on the Reym-HMVT website.
