Classic water treatment systems at a glance
Classical water treatment includes various techniques based on chemical, physical and biological processes. HMVT has the knowledge and experience for the treatment of groundwater or process water.
HMVT uses, among other things:
- Activated carbon filters: contaminated groundwater is pumped through an activated carbon filter, where the contaminants are bound to carbon.
- Strippers: guides air through the contaminated groundwater to evaporate volatile substances, after which they are captured.
- Biological treatment : contaminated groundwater is guided through a biological filter, where bacteria break down the contaminants.
