In the autumn of 2010, HMVT constructed three bioscreens in a VOCl (Volatile Organic Chlorine compounds) contamination at Vanderlande Industries in Veghel. The contamination extended to approximately 5 hectares in the groundwater at a depth of 5 to 20 metres. The natural decomposition of the VOCl contamination has already reached an advanced stage. The bioscreens consist of more than 100 injection filters, installed at a depth of 6, 10, 15 and 20 metres in the plume zone of the VOCl contamination. Lees verder

The “Dommel tunnel project” is a collaboration arrangement between the Eindhoven municipal authorities, HMVT, Oranjewoud and SRE. They have joined forces to improve the quality of the air in the city. In this project, the Dommel tunnel will be used to test the Corona air purifying system, developed by the Eindhoven University of Technology. Lees verder

In  the Summer of 2011 HMVT was asked to provide a practical solution for the treatment of 600 m³ polluted water in an old cellar in Zwolle, The Netherlands.  On this project old buildings were being demolished and also a soil  remediation  was  carried  out.  The  location  was  severely polluted  with  Chromium3,  Chromium6  and  Nickel.  As  a  result of the very wet Summer the old and still to demolish concrete cellar    stood    full    of  &n Lees verder
