Maquette tells story insitu remediation

11 October 2011

Joop van de Wijngaard has over 20 years of experience with in-situ remediation, soil vapor extraction, multiple phase extraction, air sparging and all other remediation techniques of HMVT. Hundreds of remediation plants have been realized under his supervision, or by his own hand in the past 23 years. However varying in size, all of those plants are built at full scale, but not for Joopsmost recent "production". Designed for educational and promotional purposes, Joop built miniature model of a plant, at the scale of 1:10. This remarkably detailed model contains a stripping tower. a de-ironing step, a manifold, an MPE system, a carbon air treatment filter and a carbon water purification filter. Even the wiring, plumming and all necessary pumps are added, to create a very truthful copy of its full scale versions.

Joop about the model: 'It took some hours to built it, but now we have a model with wich we can show what HMVT builds, and how everything works. A real eyecatcher for EXPOs'.

De model is currently stationed at our office in Ede, where our guests can take a quick tour around our smallest remediation-plant currently available in Europe. It will be shown at seminars and EXPO's where HMVT will attend.
